Parasailing w/ @DresselDivers

The parasails were taunting me every time I looked our onto the water. As it lingered on my list of goals, I kept watching people fly by, filling me with enough fomo to check parasailing off my list.

River Rafting in Martha Brae, Jamaica

About a 30 minute ride from Iberostar in Montego Bay, we arrived at a clearing, a shot walk from the rivers edge. We were given life jackets & rum punch ($3 each), then lead to the river. The entire ride was more comfortable than I anticipated.

Review of the @Iberostar Hotel in Jamaica

No lies, the infinity pool sold me. Iberostar’s all inclusive resort in Jamaica had everything I could ask for. From a shuttle for hotel pick up, to welcoming us with flower petals and towels folded in the shape of a kissing ducks, I truly enjoyed everything the resort had to offer.

Summer in Chicago

While it may appear quiet and peaceful at first glance, Chicago is land of the unexpected. My homegirls decided to book a trip to the Chi during Complex weekend & even though we didn’t attend the Complex events, our trip ended up throwing us for multiple loops.

@ABQLondon Cocktail Bar – London, UK

While we were in London, I was so happy to get dragged to ABQ London, the cocktail bar. The venue is modeled after the Breaking Bad TV show, with an RV and all. Guests are greeted with a free cocktail, then allowed to choose 2 drinks from the menu to make on your own.

Zip-Lining in #CostaRica

We started our girls’ trip with a zip-lining excursion with the Canopy Adventure Tour Group. For about 5 hours, we fly over 2 miles of rainforest via some of the longest zip lines in the world!

I was beyond scared but there was a group of 7 of us and everyone had already agreed. This is an amazing experience for a large group. We were paired with a family (a couple + 2 sons) who were an absolute pleasure. It’s inspiring (and shameful) to see a little kid going upside down while you scream for dear life.

Getting To & From Costa Rica

I joined a bunch of girlfriends and traveled to Costa Rica. It was my first time traveling internationally, alone in a really long time. Here are my lessons and learnings on getting to Costa Rica!

Sancho’s Tacos in #CostaRica

Our fist meal in Costa Rica was at Sancho’s Tacos 🌮 💕 Crowded around a table perfect for roasting in a large group, we decided on platefuls of tacos — and it was so good we ordered delivery on our last night!

The Warwick Rittenhouse Hotel – Philadelphia, PA

Spent a night at the Warwick Rittenhouse Hotel and it had the cutest, eclectic decor; a perfect mix of classic and modern. Everywhere you look there are punches of patterns and colors to keep you engaged. The lighting and chrome finishes are perfect — the chandelier in the main entrance is everything. Located in a lively section of Philly, this hotel is a short walk from whatever you might need.

An Afternoon at the @PhilaMuseum

Written by President ELLA

He had to work, so I made sure to plan something I wanted to do (that he would like as well). The Rocky movie history makes the Philadelphia Museum of Art is cool upon arrival. If you’re with it, you can wait in line to take a picture with Rocky — obviously we weren’t with it. But we did get pictures on the famous stairs he ran up. This is a great place for a photo op, date or just an afternoon when you have a few hours to to wander.
