We’re in Issa’s head this entire episode. Taye Diggs follows her but she’s more concerned with Nathan. She thinks/hopes every text is from him. She even tries to get her selfie came together and posts something on instagram. She’s obsessed-like and then starts thinking bout reasons why he must not like her. Next step is figuring out why she shouldn’t like him she goes to his social media to stalk correctly. She even tries to lure him through a fake page her and her friends have, but she accidentally sends it from her own account (instagram allows you to delete, luckily lol).
I fucking hate Lawrence. I don’t really, I guess he’s single or whatever. But this episode opens up with Issa and Lawrence in the 7-Eleven. When she asks him “What have you been up to” we get a flash back of his last few months of sleeping around and just… trying it. I guess he needed to go out there and test the waters but I hate him all the same. I’m not a friends with my exe’s kinda girl… but I guess Issa is.
R&B/pop singer, Yoji, was raised in London with a family of artists. With the support of her family, Yoji began learning how to play piano at the age of 8, but was trying her hand at song writing even before that. “I used to write songs in the playground with my friend and then perform them to everyone in a big showcase,” she said. “They didn’t really make any sense looking back but it was the best part of my day making music in the breaks.”
“The EP’s title reflects how it even came about. I had all these songs that meant a whole lot to me that I just needed to get ‘out of my system’ and into the world,” the singer revealed. “My vision is that there are people out there who can hear these songs about my pain and my joy and connect them to their own lives. I use songwriting to process my feelings, and I hope that my songs can help other people to do the same.”
Today, we have writer Dee “Mz DeeVa” Shields! Raised in the live music capital of the world, Austin, Texas, Dee was born into a family of musicians and writers. “I took on more of the skill of writing, alongside a deep love and appreciation of music from many genres,” the writer stated. Dee graduated in 2000 from Austin Business College with a degree in Administrative Specialization, but went on to study Social Work and Psychology at Central Texas College and the University of Mary-Hardin Baylor. She is also set to receive her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Phoenix this spring, and will continue on to receive her masters and eventually doctorate in the field.
S/O to Jamie Foxx. It’s nice to hear a bit of good news. It’s sad to know the guy he helped was under the influence, but nice to know there are people willing to risk themselves when others are in need.
I find this to be very dope. Let’s reflect on the good vibes.
I wanted to share with you all singer-songwriter Kirby Maurier’s independent debut album, Doing The Most! Released on July 31st, the album features production from Vegas Fontaine, and is now available on all digital platforms including iTunes!
I had the opportunity to attend and cover rapper Kidd Flash’s album release party for his debut project, Ya’ll Gon’ Kno’!
Held on August 13, 2015 at Kabin Lounge in Washington, D.C., the event featured an Artist Talk with Kidd Flash hosted by journalist Gia Peppers, as well as performances by the artist himself!
Kidd Flash is actually the son of singer Ginuwine, and has inherited his father’s love and passion for music, although he leans toward the hip hop side. The young rapper definitely has potential to make a name for himself in the industry.
