Snorkeling in Barbados šŸ‡§šŸ‡§

The snorkeling adventure is pretty affordable – if you only want to snorkel, with no drinks included, the trip costs $40. It’s $80 if you also want some rum punch šŸ¹ If you’re not a swimmer, you can still join the boat ride for a cool $20. I typically check Viator & see if they have any deals.

My Garra Fish Pedicure by @GarrasLasVegas

Dedicated my last day in Vegas to the spa and started with trying out a pedi at @GarraLasVegas This spot was a lot more fun & low-key than I expected & the fish were as good at their job as they are said to be. The customer service was worth mentioning; The girls who work the spa inject their fun & youthfulness into the business as they prep and inform you about everything you need & want to know. Not only are they kind, but incredibly informed about their job.

Plaza Mella – Havana, Cuba

In 1925, Mella was expelled from the University after he and fellow students forcibly took over the university and made demands including modernizing text books and free education for all. After being accused of a bomb plot, Mella was expelled from the University for this ā€œradicalā€, political involvement. Once freed from jail, Mella fled to Mexico, where he was assassinated under suspicious circumstances just a few years later, in 1929, at just 26 years old.

Where to Stay: Philly Weekend Getaway

The AirBNB in Philly was between University City and West Philadelphia. It was perfectly located to hit the cheesesteaks we wanted to taste test over the weekend. The spot itself was super cute. The building is painted a fun purple color, although we barely used the front door. Honestly, the best part of the AirBNB was that there was a dedicated parking spot in the back, inside a gate.

Where to Stay in Puerto Rico: Hato Rey

For the second part of my Puerto Rico trip, I stayed at a place in Hato Rey with a beautiful rooftop. While I loved the beaches, having a private pool was something I couldn’t pass up!

Flyboarding – Loquillo, PR

I think I was flying around for about 30 minutes; it felt like a really long time, even though it took me forever to stand up straight. He also took tons of photos and videos of me which I received in a few days. The photos were included, which is a great plus and truly earned them the tip I left. If ever I get the chance, I’ll definitely do this again, it was such an exhilarating experience and I felt it in my entire body afterwards. I’m always up for a new water sport!

Breakfast at Pannes in Puerto Rico

I ordered the ā€œPopeye’s Scrambleā€ which was basically their version of a Greek Omelete. It’s was actually a pretty big serving for only $8.99. I also has bacon šŸ„“ & bread šŸ„– but I don’t remember if it came with the meal or was separate, sorry šŸ™ of course, I had lattes at the beginning and end of my meal — the coffee was great, as expected.

Puerto Rico: Where to Stay – Ashford Ave

The first place I stayed in Puerto Rico was absolutely ideal. The Air BnB apartment was right on Ashford Ave, the main street on the island, parallel to the beach. The beach was literally across the street the street from me. From my balcony, I could see the waves through a perfectly positioned opening between the buildings across the street. From the back entrance, I had an amazing view of the Condado lagoon.

The Mondrian Hotel – South Beach, Miami

I’m glad I stayed at The Mondrian and was able to live the full drunk in Miami experience during Art Basel weekend. I have some travel & spend type friends, so we decided to stay in the liveliest place we could find during Art Basel. The best thing about The Mondrian is the location; if you’re not next to whatever it is, you don’t need to worry because anybody and everybody will come to you.

Lantana Resort – Weston, Barbados

The space had plenty room to hang in. The living room was pretty large, but not compared to the outside living/dining area. There was a full 6-person dining room table on the back porch where a bunch of little birds will stop by & wait for you to drop a bit of bread. The pool was right below our apartment & easily accessible. The only thing (with our side) was that the pool was in the shade all morning, so the water was still a bit cold.
