You couldn’t tell me nothin in this Yigal Azrouel dress. I was first attracted to the reinvented camouflage in patchwork, but the fit blew my mind. The sleeves are perfect length for the office, as it the length of the skirt. The stretch fabric hugs comfortably & does its job on curves from neck to knee. A mermaid/trumpet shape is great for curvy ladies 😉 I also loved the black piping which added an interesting intricacy; it outlines the top so that it looks somewhat like a bustier. Overall, FANTASTIC dress for any occasion.
While this would have looked amazing with open toe still toes for a night out, I gave them my knee high, suede Calvin Klein boots because it’s gettin’ brisk outside. I got these boots at sample sale a few years back when I worked for them, and they’ve stood the test of time! I even dropped by a happy hour with co-workers in this one and even got into the background for a taping of Love & Hip Hop — because that’s how an NYC night goes in the right outfit 😉
