Havana is magnificent in its architecture. Like much else of Havana, overall there is plenty construction going on to beautify to country. The courtyards of Old Havana, La Havana Vieja give the city a feel of paradise on a city corner.
My mom, aunt & I drove around in an old-fashion car and got to see the city in a new fashioned way. For a few bucks, a friendly gentlemen drove us around and gave us a tour. We started and ended our journey by El Capitolio, which looks like the US Capitol Building and even say with Beyoncé & Jay-Z stayed. It was the perfect afternoon.
If you have a chance to get over to Cuba, I’d say this is a great place to tour for a day. Have your walking shoes & pesos ready.
