Who doesn’t love grilled cheese? My bestie Lauren was over for the weekend and we decided to make our own version of grilled cheese. See below for ingredients and recipe!
-Sliced cheese (any kind you like)
-1 tbsp pesto
-a bunch of spinach
-1 fried egg
-100% whole wheat toast
1. Toast bread in toaster or oven
2. While bread is toasting, fry 1 egg on skillet with cooking spray or olive oil
3. When your bread is toasted, add 1 tbsp of pesto, 1/4 avocado, 1 slice of cheese, egg and spinach and add sandwich to hot skillet with olive oil to give the bread a little more crunch and to melt everything together.
Then ENJOY! I think we literally ate this for at least one meal every day the entire weekend! So yummy and full of nutrients! I was also clearly way too excited to eat to take proper step by step pictures and end result pictures, but you get the point! Let me know how you like it if you make it!
